NUVOC VOLLEYBALL CLUB EDINBURGH

NUVOC Volleyball Club, Edinburgh is one of the Capitals largest clubs and has been on the go now for over 30 years. NUVOC currently has 8 volleyball teams playing in competitive volleyball leagues in Scoltand. A host of volleyball coaches allows the club to quickly develop novice players into competent competitors with a bit of fun thrown in for good measure.

Volleyball training Sept-Dec: outwith our team training we have introduced a recreational session on a Thursday evening between 7pm-8pm at the Crags Sports Centre . A small participation fee is required.

One match in and the dummies are already out of the pram - only joking. New season off to a flyer for all four teams - well nearly. NUVOC teams didn't quite manage the 4 and O in fact couldn't make 3 victories out of four... nope the club had to settle for 2 losses and 2 wins.

Newsroom Update

As we're always looking to help those who have helped us I thought it fitting that we gave one of our prospective "supporters" a little bit of a plug.

So, here's the plug - The Newsroom's put together a great menu and some fairly decent promotions. Those who have a club spycard can take advantage of the regular beer and bottle deals as well as 2 for 1 on selected meals.

It's quite possibly the best pubs in the east end and ideally situated if you're looking for a stop before getting the train at Waverley or need a break from the shopping!!
