We now have five confirmed teams for the league. They are Hornets,NUVOC 90, Peebles, Jets and Edinburgh University. Heriot Watt have not returned my emails and so I will have to rule them out.
Both halls are booked from 11am, but it will take a while to get the nets up. I have got Peebles playing in the drill hall first to allow them to set the net up (as only Wattie knows how!).
The schedule is as follows:
Drill hall:
Game 1, first ball served 11:30am, Peebles v Hornets, Refs Edin Uni
Game 2, first ball served 1pm, NUVOC v Edin Uni, Refs Hornets
Gytes:
Game 1, first ball served 11:30am, Jets v NUVOC, Refs Edin Uni
Game 2, first ball served 1pm, Jets v Peebles, Refs Hornets
Game 3, first ball served 2:30pm, Hornets v Edin Uni, Refs Peebles
Edin Uni are coming by public transport and the first bus in to Peebles on Sundays is 11:40am, so we will probably have to self referee the first sets until they arrive. As soon as the second games are finished, could NUVOC or Jets get people along to the other venue to take over officiating from Hornets to allow them to start warming up. Once Peebles are finished their second match they could shower. NUVOC/Jets will start the warmup for the last game and Peebles can take over once they're showered and have taken down the net at the Drill hall.
