NUVOC roll over CP

E-mail Print PDF
Sunday doth be a day of rest... unless you play volleyball of course. The women had to squeeze in another game this weekend and Firrhill HS was the location. After yesterdays convincing triumph over Glasgow International, the girls were obviously in the winning way. Don't have full blow by blow account of todays game against Cavalry Park, however safe to say they did a number on CP. Result Pentland NUVOC 5 - 0 Cavalry Park (25-11, 25-14, 25-22, 25-18, 15-5). Great result girls.

Not pretty volleyball, unlike Sat's match against GI. Guess it demonstrates how NUVOC Womens team is like the sea - matches the colour of the sky - or more simply (for you simple boys), we reflect the standard of the opposition. GI good quality volleyball, we matched it plus some. CP, less quality volleyball (but still not bad), we matched it plus a little bit !

But, a win is a win. 10 sets played, 10 sets won in 2 days. Takes us to second in the league.

Boy do I have sore buttocks - anyone else in the team aching (apart from Dave's heid) ?????

See y'all Sat.
