NUVOC Volleyball Club Edinburgh

A big weekend for all the teams coming up.

There's a couple of local derby's taking place down at Broughton where NUVOC women will be having a bit of a ding-dong with those Edinburgh Favourites - Elle Jets TROIS. Now, I shouldn't stir it but hey that's what the website's for sometimes. No doubt there'll be plenty of hugs and kisses once the final whistle has blown however I would suspect that there may be some pretty hot action on the court. Fingers crossed read more.

The mens second team might be pulling some class action when tickling the mikasa's against Grassmarket Jets or is it Edinburgh Jets 2 .. anyway, one of the jets teams in the mens third division. Should be a leveller though as NUVOC will be back to full strength and gunning for a victory.

On home turf, NUVOC mens first team rumble with the Cardinals De Bellshill. Rumour has it that recent snowboarding activity has confused many of the Bellshill boys and has brought a whole new definition to the word piste. Anyway, as always it'll be a happy affair at Firrhill and a blistering game to boot.

Extra special bonus feature... there's a mens division one match on too at Firrhill where Team Fife regulate their undergarments against those springy chaps from City of Edinburgh. Good to see that 2 former NUVOC boys are holding a starting six with them.

So there you have it in a nutshell. Predictions for the weekend... some teams will win and some will lose.
